A Child-centered, Holistic Approach
Our teachers and staff are guided by Kids Spark curriculum. We pride ourselves on a low student to teacher ratio. Most classes have one teacher and one teacher’s assistant with a maximum of 12 students. Our teachers develop age-appropriate activities that introduce and strengthen academic and social skills. At the begining of each month we create a newletter to keep you informed about our weekly themes, special activities, birthdays and closings. Also, a daily activity sheet is sent home to keep our parents informed of their child's learning day.
In addition to the ‘basics’, we offer students a range of gross motor and creative opportunities including weekly music, science and art instruction. We strive to include enrichment activities that extend our students knowledge and understanding of the world outside the classroom.
Each year, our students take field trips to many local places of interest such as The Maryland Zoo, The Science Center, Port Discovery, and Huber Family Farm just to name a few. Moreover, we participate in many activities given by the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Hamilton.
